Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1-1/2 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup butter, melted

Directions:

  1.  Beat eggs at medium speed with an electric mixer, add sugar and beat until creamy.
  2.  Add vanilla, flour, salt – mixing well.
  3.  Add melted chocolate and butter  – mixing well.  (You can microwave the butter and chocolate on medium power for about a minute or until melted and mixed. You can also melt them together with indirect heat in a double boiler)
  4.  Pour batter into 8×12 inch pan (you can also use 9×13)
  5.  Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes. Test by gently pushing your finger into the middle and if it is slightly firm and bounces back, they are ready). Do not over cook.  Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream and berries.
