Apple Crisp is my absolute favorite Fall dessert!!

Ingredients:

  • 3 – 4 large honey crisp apples, cored and sliced (adjust for smaller apples)
  • 1/4 c. white sugar
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

Topping:

  • 3/4 c. old fashion oats
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 5 T butter
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • pinch salt
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 8×8 pan.
  2. Peel, core and cut your apples and place in bowl. Add the sugar & spices. Mix well and put into your greased baking dish.
  3. In separate bowl, mix together all topping ingredients with a pastry cutter to blend butter (cold/diced) into the dry ingredients.
  4. Pour topping over apples in baking dish, and gently pat to even it out. Bake 40-50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.

Serve with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
